Moshi Matcha — Izumo Matcha from Shimane, Japan

We import matcha directly from Izumo, a small growing region in Shimane Prefecture on Japan’s San’in coast. According to Japan’s Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Shimane accounts for roughly 0.2% of national matcha production (MAFF, 2021).

We work with a single farm run by Yuta Oka, recognised in 2022 as the youngest tea master in Japan, and supply matcha, Japanese loose-leaf teas and hand-made ceramics to over 100 cafés, patisseries and restaurants across Poland.
